Best upcoming phones of 2022
A phone is a much more compact and powerful device than you
might imagine. This may be said for smartphones since they're often seen as
a "small" but extremely powerful and advanced piece of technology. In
reality, these are not small anymore, with many phones reaching over 3-4
million pixels in resolution, which makes them one of the most impressive
displays ever created - it's even hard to see them in their entirety. Although
there's something that just doesn't seem real these days as well, thanks to
modern smartphones, devices are getting bigger, faster at processing, more
innovative, and more affordable than ever before. That's why 2021 is already
such exciting with new products being released every single day and people
eagerly waiting for each next year to come to life. As we are all aware, the
smartphone market has skyrocketed during this with sales going up significantly
every year. For any year, it becomes quite difficult to keep up when looking at
all the features of the internet and some of the latest devices on the market will
undoubtedly change our lives forever. And with so many smartphones out in the
market now, the amount of options available is never-ending. We have plenty of
mobile phones to choose from that have recently been developed this year, and
although there are still tons of cool gadgets available right now, these phones
are what makes us say "Wow" when talking about smartphones. So here
are 11 of those awesome upcoming Phones of today (and 2022) and you can check
them out for yourself, or you can let us know if your favorite smartphone is
missing from our list, too.
#1 – Galaxy S21
The Galaxy S21 series has long been a great product line
that stands above the rest. The flagship S21 was unveiled at Mobile World
Congress in 2018, where it was given great reviews by everyone who had tried
and they loved that Galaxy S21 series offers very similar features to its
predecessor. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset and is paired
with 12GB of RAM, four cameras, a 5,000mAh battery & stereo speakers with
Dolby Atmos. You won't believe how incredible the display and camera
performance with Samsung claiming an
FHD+ display and offering a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED screen with 1440 x 1668
resolution. Plus, it will sport 108MP main sensors, a 48MP ultrawide & a
50MP front camera. All the Galaxy S21's are backed by a 120Hz refresh rate, 2x
multi-lens camera system, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, AI, S Pen, USB
Type-C port, and Android 11. There is no denying that Galaxy S21 Ultra offers a
better experience than S20 (which also launched simultaneously), thanks to
various upgrades in the camera department as well, including Dual Pixel HDR,
Wide Field, Dark Mode, Night mode, Low Light Mode, Portrait Lighting, Live View,
Curvature Light, Daybreak, Time Lapse, Panorama, New Frame Mode, Slow Motion,
Cinematic Mode, Dynamic Focus, Black, Mono, Stereo, Front and Side Styles.
Also, the new variants will offer customizations like Adaptive Display, Airplane
mode, True Depth Video, Auto White Balance, Color Filters, Ambient Light, and
others too.
#2 – OnePlus 9A
Many people know the value OnePlus brings to the table.
They've become one of the top smartphone brands in the world, especially in
terms of innovation and design. Just look at the amazing innovations and
stylish designs. The success of OnePlus in both retail and online is also proof
of that, as consumers are constantly finding ways to purchase and download
every other flagship OnePlus device ever made. But we are currently looking
forward to seeing a lot of newer updates and improvements as the brand
continues to innovate and deliver better experiences for customers. One
particular handset that we wish would launch soon is the OnePlus 9A. With a massive
6.7-inches display, OLED screen, stereo speakers, and large punch hole camera
array, the OnePlus 9A is indeed an amazing device. If you love an exceptionally
thick and thin rectangle with high-resolution displays, then you'll want to
watch out for the OnePlus 9A.
#3 – iPhone XR
One Plus has provided several models of the original iPhone
XR since 2012, all of which were highly criticized for having glass screens and
failing to appeal to younger generations. Although the Cupertino-based company
kept improving upon the design of the series, we didn't see the price tag,
either. Nowadays, iPhones are almost always cheaper than what older ones cost.
Apple keeps introducing exciting iterations of the iPhone with an emphasis on
durability while maintaining the quality across multiple devices. Most
smartphones nowadays feature triple rear cameras with dual-lens modules, with
two ultra-wide-angle lenses and two telephoto cameras along with a depth sensor
#4 – LG G8 Thin Q
LG’s first foray into the premium smartphone segment is
definitely on par with Apple when it comes to delivering cutting-edge
technologies to its users. Its slimline design and stunning looks are what drew
a huge number of customers to the brand. What sets LG apart from Apple is the
dual-camera setup, which helps deliver excellent image quality to photos with
low noise levels. The latest model LG G8 Thin Q features a full range of
advanced features which include wireless charging, fast Charging, Full Vision,
Voice Assistant Support, and an
Active Front Camera. Unlike its predecessor, LG
uses LED lights and other sophisticated solutions to deliver a true color
experience for customers from anywhere. The Galaxy Z Fold series is another
interesting addition to LG's portfolio, as it offers unique features that
include super light folding and unfolding solutions, a larger and thicker
screen as well as flexible displays and flexible accessories.
#5 – RealmeNarzo 20
The recent release of the Mi Note 7 was rather disappointing
because it failed to meet expectations and offered inferior performance
compared to standard and higher-priced versions of the devices over time. From
initial rumors and leaks, we now have access to a plethora of information
regarding the device. According to reports, the RealmeNarzo 20 Series is coming
up soon in India. While details for the device remain undisclosed, the company
has announced its partnership with Huawei, which means that the device will
share exclusive specifications and a few key aspects of the smartphone. The
smartphone boasts an IP67 rating thanks to its non-removable plastic body. The
flagship device measures 159.5 x 75.1 x 7.7 mm along with a thickness of 0.33 mm.
Additionally, the fingerprint scanner is housed within the device, making it a
unique concept to date and something that will surely wow people around the
globe. Furthermore, Xiaomi's newest flagship, Redmi K30 Pro, is expected to
launch sometime beginning January 2020 via Google Play Store and Amazon.
Currently, the device sits at $699, with the option to start spending it in red
coins through Flipkart starting December.
#6 – Sony Xperia Z3
Sony's Xperia Z3 is certainly in the spotlight for what they
did to bring back the classic smartphones. Compared to previous flagship
smartphones, Sony Xperia has managed to implement a lot more sophisticated
design yet maintain good performance as well. To add to its advantage, Sony
Xperia has introduced a truly waterproof device, Xperia A4H2, in addition to
Xperia Z3. This device combines a 6.3-inch QXGA OLED panel with 24 million pixels
of pixel density, which allows for a sharp display that delivers rich colors in
color, deep blacks, and superior performance. The Xperia Z3 features two
cameras, which are combined with an ultra-wideband, an autofocus motor,
infrared autofocus, and 4K video recording. Sony Xperia also claims a 100
frames per second processing speed, which further shows off the device's
incredible technical capacity. The device's size measures 164.3 x 74.5 x 7.7
mm. Moreover, it covers a width of 6.6 inches and weighs only 146g. The
processor featured on the Xperia Z3 is Qualcomm Snapdragon 855, with power
consumption estimated to reach 13W in standby, 18W at peak usage, and 25W under
heavy usage (with thermal effects).
#7 – OnePlus Buds Z2
II
The iconic earphones from OnePlus are the perfect companion
to smartphones in everyday use as they complement traditional smartphones and
help improve how smartphones work. Since 2019, the series has made its way to
various parts of the world. These ears can connect directly to smartphones,
allowing users to listen to music and talk to each other anywhere without the
need for cords or charging dongles. Both OnePlus Buds Z2 I and Z2 II give users
a clear sound and powerful bass while having active noise canceling through EQ,
passive noise canceling, and spatial audio modes. Unfortunately, there is no
official confirmation if the two models will be announced separately or at
once, instead, they will arrive together at the CES in 2021.
#8 – Poco M3
Poco M3 was released in 2016 but is widely regarded as the
ultimate flagship device in the world of smartphones. Thanks to its outstanding
cameras and exquisite display, its battery life can exceed 22 hours, making it
longer lasting than any smartphone from 2017 and even more than Huawei’s Mate40
Pro. However, according to reports, Sony’s Xperia XZ4 series will launch later
this year and is expected to pack a Snapdragon 750G Octa-core chipset, offering
5G connectivity & fast speeds over 300 Mbps. Meanwhile, the Poco M3 is
expected to arrive in stores sometime start January 15, 2021, followed by
Android Oreo
